This is shifting some serious air in southern England right now! :dude Ampeg SVT450, 4x10, 1x15. Sadowsky NYC Standard 5. Talk about massive but very defined and articulate low end?? Oh mama!!

Potent!
Great looking Rig!!
Just for my edification, why is better to have the 15" on top of the 10's?
Thanks,
Edward

I just prefer the sound of 15s. Having the 15 on top makes it more audible to the player than it being on the bottom and mostly hearing the 10s.

3 points for me I guess....
1. That's just the way it ended up when I brought it home from the rehearsal room. :D
2. I'd have it like that anyways if running as a stack from one head. The 4x10 has enough treble and cut to be audible under the 1x5, but the 1x15 isn't quite as 'there' when on the bottom. Not an issue on a big stage or rehearsal room where you can get far enough away to hear both, but when space is at a premium I like the 15 up top.
3. I don't use it as a full stack anyways. :D Actual rig is the SVT running the 1x15 and an old Marshall head (valve thing from 70s) running the 4x10. One channel (SVT) stays clean, the other has a pedal board in the way.
