Lexicon Mpx-1 Problems

Hi

i have just got a lexicon mpx 1 from ebay and i am having some problems with it (even though i have read the manual)......since i am a new rack user i cannot figure out if the problems i am getting are caused by the fact i'm not very experienced with rack effects or if they are caused by a hardware fault of the mpx1 itself....Here's the problem i am having.....

I have performed a reset to factory settings and when i restart the mpx1 it starts with factory preset No1......When i enter the EDIT mode by pressing the edit key i can scroll through the various parameters but i am unable to exit and return to the factory preset screen or to enter program mode. Do you have any idea why this might be happening???????Is there something i am missing or i have bought a faulty mpx1???

Tell me what you are doing, step by step, and I'll see if I can recreate your problem ... or offer an alternative. ;)

so!i m opening the rack from the power button and what i can see is this:

the buttons pitch-chorus-eq-mod-delay-reverb with the light open,and "program" button and "options" button with the light open also.

now if i will press the "edit" button or the "system" button i can t return to the program mode!...and general i can t ..open the light of the program button again with any way!

When you say "open" do you mean on or off?

I press edit, and am in edit mode. To exit edit mode, I can just press the program button.
