Hi!
This may be a bit stupid question, but I ask it anyway. I have Boss DD-5 Digital Delay pedal and when I plug it in, it takes about 5-10 seconds until I can get it to On-mode. I press the switch but nothing happens until about after 10 seconds. After that it works normally. But when I plug it in again it does the same thing. Is this normal or is mine broken?
Thanks

i have a dd6, but mine comes on right away...yours might have a glitch; i'd return to boss, they have 5 yr warranty.

Same "problem" before I sold off my dd-5. As I soon as I turn on my pedal power, the led comes on. But takes a while to deactivate it.
But after the initial fiddling, it doesn't cause any other problems. So I've never bothered with getting it looked at. Sold it a few weeks back and i've had no complaints either.

My DD-6 turns on when it gets power also, but it easy to turn off. I think this is a common Boss thing.
It's fine, some protection circuit kicks in at first.
