Hey guys!
I'm looking for links/info on great quality guitar builders.
I'm thinking about having an ES W/O the F-holes build. ala Joe Perry's Billie or Spiderman guitar... Sort of replicas, not the Bilie airbrush finish though, but some other kind og airbrush on this particular guitar I have in mind.
I want it to remind alot of the Gibson quality/wood sorts which THEY use, but unfortunately I can't affort to have Gibson build me a "one of a kind" Gibby. A replica of "The Spiderman" guitar joe has would be another possible thought I have, contacted the guy who build Joe's, and a replica of "The Spiderman" guitar build by him was 20,000$ so also way out of my league.
So I'm, looking for help to find other great quality guitar builders that would still be able to do a good job within the maximum price at 3-4000$ if this is even possible?
Also any great guitar Airbrush artists?
Any help?
Best Regards

NOTICE THE ABALONE INLAY UP THE FRETBOARD, THINK THIS KIND OF EXPENSIVE, BUT LOOKS COOL!

I would have Hamer or Heritage do it for me. I am not sure if you could get them to do the graphics or not. If not I would get them to do a base color coat and then take it to some for the graphics.

Thanks!
Haven't owned any of the guitars you've mentioned, but I think that would require that they'd have to put their name on it too, right?
Any links to private luithers?
Anyways, I'll try the companies you mentioned.
And thanks again:-)

I kind of doubt it in that price range.

Have you considered having someone modify a Gibson BB King Lucille? It should be doable in your price range including the graphics, the re-finish and any mods you'd need.

Joe sure likes that guitar huh? He was always a different guitar for every song kinda guy until that one came along. He plays it everywhere. I wonder if its the guitar or the picture?

That is a great idea!!! This is the perfect way to do it. Buy a used Lucille and have it refinished. I know they come in black and in red. I am not sure if they ever came in white.

Thanks for your replies guys!
One question here. If bying a BB King Lucille guitar, would it then be possible to remove the "Lucille" inlay in the headstock and remove the Varitone switch without having to suffer on lack of tone/quality?
I would have it proffesionally done ofcourse but just wanted to make shure if it's even possible?
Don't know if the "Lucille" inlay is layed "Deeper" than the finish, as I would have it refinished anyway?
Thanks again:-)
