Laney VH100R Footswitch

I recently bought a Laney VH100R head second hand without the footswitch, i didnt think much of it at the time but have recently found them almost impossible to find and insainly expensive!!

Im thinking of building up my own, anyone have any wiring diagrams on the Laney FS4 solid gold footswitch? - (so expensive it must be made of solid gold)

any help would be appreciated....

Also trying to get some thoughts on valves, has anyone had success with different tubes.

The sound im going for is a smooth rock sound, not metal but just a nice rock sound. I Currently have Sovtek 6L6 in there and am pretty happy with the sound, just thought i might get some thoughts on options.

I have SED =c= 6L6s in my GH100L...awesome, a little different flavor than the EL34s and more clean headroom-

I also have a mix in the preaamp, I have a Sino, nos Tesla, Tung-Sol, and nos Tungsram in there

can't help you on the switch....

I liked JJ 6L6's for power tubes. They helped fatten up this very bright amp.

I had a mix of EH & JJ preamp tubes.
