A fairly well-known speaker guy said this for SMALL speaker cone holes..(note the word small)...
" cut a small (1/2 to 3/4 ") round patch from a grocery sack (yes I heard him correctly), soak it in H20 for a few seconds, dry it between paper towels well....put a little white Elmers on it spread thinly and evenly, smooth the patch on flat on the backside of the cone (unless you cant reach it otherwise).... and rub it down gently. Watch it for a while while it dries with no curl etc...." I did and its still there doin' fine 4 years later, gets used a lot. Proceed at your own risk......

If it's a small hole, or tear you can glue layers of paper towel too. Use white glue it's more flexible than wood glue. When it's cured you can hit it with some flat black.

Hash oil perhaps, maybe some hemp paper roughed up a little.
Just stuff a blunt doobie in there.

I've heard to use paper towel or toilet paper and nail polish.

I had heard that too, re: TP/PT and nail polish on some website years ago and asked the speaker guy that...... he said the sack paper didnt lose as much moisture over a longer peiord of time, remained more flexible (with the cone flexing) and probably wouldnt cause a spot that could harden and cause the cone to possibly crack around it...after I tried it, the patch kinda "became part of the cone"....much like a doob would in this case...:o
