AC30CC-1 Fuses [Archive]

Well, it happened....My 6 month old AC30CC blew a fuse! I am needing to replace it (The one near the cord for plugging in) and am wondering what type it is and where to get it. I checked 3 different Hardware stores to no avail and a local shop told me I should bring the amp in because blowing fuses is a big deal! Well, I'd rather change the fuse first and see for myself...I have never had to go through a search for fuses, so I am a bit uncertain. I know it is a 4 amp/250v but what about the other weird letters?

I guess the question is: Is this just a standard 4 amp fuse?? :o

yes standard slo-blo. The real question is why did the fuze blow? You may have a bad tube.

Yep...that's the question. I am going to try a few things (and buy a few fuses!). Power tubes, rectifier, etc....If it's none of those it goes in for warranty service....:D
