I got the backing from RedAnt off of another board so it probably already made the rounds here. I'm an old fart relearning how to play so be kind. My band and I "divorced" about 15 years ago and I litterally didn't even pick up a guitar for all those years. Just now getting back into it and I'm amazed at all the resources out there now.

Sounds all right for a fifteen year layoff. Takes a while to blow the dust off...

Agreed, pretty cool for someone who took such a long break.:RoCkIn

LoL. Thanks :). I am struggling though. I still have semi decent dexterity. Can grab any chord but playing fast is like when you run down hill and your legs can't keep up with how fast you are descending. On top of that I haven't retained very much knowledge. Like the chords I can grab readily but I don't know what the voicing is and have to look at it to pick out what notes I am actually playing. There are areas of the fretboard I get lost on and the first pentatonic position is the only thing I can play out of unconsciously.
But hey there are a lot of resources out there now. Hell I can find lessons on the Internet even so hopefully with a lot of practice and time I'll be posting some more sound clips that are more up to the level of the forum average.
