Bought New - never gigged, haven't used it more than a couple of times in a home studio. Mint condition would pass for new.

Not so --- I asked the mods when i first listed something for sale here, and wastold it was A-Ok (that's how we roll in recording, where it's remainerd a non-issue).

What's your issue with the policy, anyhoo?

If the mods say it's OK it's OK.

But what's the purpose of the emporium? Is it cool to put FS ads for pickups or guitars in the guitar section?

My understanding of the way things worked here is that topics are grouped together by subject. Discussion of general "music" stuff goes in the lounge, discussion of guitars in general goes in guitars, discussion of off topic stuff goes in OT, ads go in the appropriate emporium forum. While the emporium rules specifically state "The Emporiums are not discussion forums," I would conversely assume that the discussion forums are not emporiums.

If I have any "issue" with that policy, I'd rather look through discussion topics than ads.

Think "trickle" vs. "gushing stream". There are relatively few bassists around here, and relatively few frequenters of the bass and recording areas.

Is "wading through" (scrolling past?) 3 f/s ads such a big deal? I find them a lot less offensive than many, many threads around these parts (especially in the pub and lounge).

Just sayin'...
