Recently my Keeley TS9 started messing with me at the worst times. The blue LED will come on only half way and the signal is cut in half. Ofcourse it only happens on stage right on the first important note of a solo. To fix it I have to unplug the adaptor and put it back in several times. Has anyone had this happen or have any suggestions what it might be? I run two Keeleys back to back but only one is having power troubles.

I'd try a bettery first and see if it still has the problem, because it sounds like it is in the power adaptor. I have had the switches go bad on me and they start doing weird things but it doesn't sound like a bad switch. It's probably a real easy fix internally if you have any soldering skills.

I had a ts9 do that. I reheated the solder connections for the 9v adapter. I haven't had a problem since.

+1 on Robert Keeley's service. I sent a TS9 back because it was making
noise. He replaced the parts for the price of shipping.
Contact them first.
