That sucks. This is why I didn't want to buy a Line 6 delay.

Does the led still work?
Same thing happened to my Roto Machine, just died one day. Weird thing was the led was either green & blinking when on, or yellow & blinking when off. When it stopped working the led turned solid red. Never been able to figure out the problem

Was it in an effects loop or out in front of the amp?

That does suck.
Man, i must be one of the lucky ones. I've owned the DL4 and an EP and neither has given me a moments trouble. I gig/travel lots. However I can see how a mass produced pedal that is made in the 10s of thousands could have many that just slip thru the cracks quality wise.
If mine died today I'd just go get a new one. The price/feature ratio is just too good.

Chances are that all you'll have to replace is the module, the dock is probably still fine. See if you can borrow another module from someone (any Tonecore module will work, but I'd at least try and find a stereo one) just to confirm that the dock is still okay.

Unplug it from the trex fuel tank 9v out. Try it with a battery. Still nothing? Call Line6. Check to see if the Echo Park's mA requirements were the same as the trex fuel tank 9v out.

it was last on my pedal board.

i was very careful when i got the fuel tank to make sure they were compatable, and they've been good friends for the past 1 1/2 years. mA requirements were fine. the EP liked the 12v more IMO.

true. i picked one up for a mate for $80. for what they do.. they're damn good value. i was thinking i might take the opportunity to buy a DL4. problem, ive heard ppl having reliability issues with these as well..

could be the go.
thanks guys !

Sorry to hear that your EP died...
My first guess is from this…
“I was very careful when I got the fuel tank to make sure they were compatible, and they've been good friends for the past 1 1/2 years. mA requirements were fine. The EP liked the 12v more IMO.”
If my memory serves me correctly… in early ToneCore there was a filter capacitor in the power supply that was susceptible to failing if you ran the pedal on 12 volts DC. I do remember that there was an ECO that corrected this on later units… But most likely you toasted the dock’s power supply caps by running it at 12 volts.
If you’re handy with a soldering iron… you might be able to fix it…
If it's not the power supply... Try taking out the module and reseating it…
That’s all I got… sorry

i even got in contact with line 6 to make sure the 12v would be fine for it.. as i recall, it can take up to 15 v happily according to the manual. ill see how handy i am...
