Any reason not to use one of these on an amp like the marshall 18w? The phase swich allows you to run both ch's togeather. I do this on my 65Amps London. I know it's for 2 amps, but it works real nice. Is it any harder on the PI?

Yeah, I'd like to know the answer to this one as well.....and were you implying overloading the power transformer, or what is PI?

I've used mine that way on my Vox AC30CC1, and on my Richter 5E7+ (tweed Bandmaster-ish head). Not only is it not a problem, but I highly recommend it for adding clean definition to crunch.

There is no relation between an amp switcher like the Radial Switchbone and the phase inverter of your amps.
The "phase reversal" switch is utilized to eliminate any phase cancellations that can occur when using two different amps at the same time. Out of phase sounds can best be described as nasally sounding and weak. If you have two amps (which is why one would use this unit), try using this switch in either position with both amps on.

I think what I meant was....It's subsatntially louder with both ch running togeather.... can the PI or power tubes be pushed too hard this way? I wish there was a way to mod the amp with a switch....so I did not need the Switchbone. I do not use it for much else...
