View Full Version : Anyone know if a Pedal Power II can power an Eventide Timefactor?
Will the auxillary outlet have enough mA to power the Eventide?
Thanks

the eventide requires 9v1200ma dc. what are the pp2 specs?

It says its 200 Watts MAX....so I would say it is ok.
Just a thought. I think it has to do more with amperage. The Eventide needs 1200mA. I don't think the PedalPower will put that out. I may be wrong.

From memory i think the PP2 only supplies 200ma. I'm thinking it'll be a wall wart type of setup for that big boy :D

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the courtesy outlet is just that, an outlet. The 1200ma needed would come from the Eventide supplied wall wart that would be plugged into the PP2's courtesy outlet.

I have 4 or 5 pedals, of various voltages and amperages, plugged into a power strip in the outlet and it works fine. No issues with anything sounding weird.
You would be fine. I asked my brother (Electrical Engineer) the conversion for 200w @ 9vDC - the formula is:
W = V x A
(Watts = Voltage x Amps)
So:
9V x A = 200W
Correct me if I'm wrong, but my maths puts you at roughly 22A amps of available juice. Or, 18 Eventide Timefactors, if you will. :rotflmao
The external outlet will do you fine. :BEER
