Someone gave me a couple of these & I have no idea where they'd be used. They look like a mini 12a_7.

CAUTION: Don't use them in ANY socket that's not designated 6AU6.

They're used in some audio gear but I can't think of any guitar amps that use them off hand.

They are used in some silvertone amps as the tremelo tube.
