Expression pedals? Midi? External Switches?
1) What do each of these do?
2) How do you use them?
3) Which product do you recomend?
I know what an expression pedal does ... but I'm sure there's some uses for it that I don't know of.

i'm thinking about getting a expression pedal, but that's probably about it for extras on the timefactor for me. I think you can assign a exp. pedal to control pretty much any function on the timefactor.
by the way, i got the digilog working just fine and it's sounding great!

can the eventide cop the nice infinite repeats that the digilog does so well?

The Eventide supposedly has a display that shows you what knobs are changing as you sweep the expression pedal....now THATS cool.
I plan on at least using an external tap tempo.
Hey Jon,
I plan on getting an expression pedal, a tap tempo, and possibly a midi mouse switcher. I got the idea to use the midi mouse from this post (http://www.hugeracksinc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=35835&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=eventide+timefactor&start=31) on huge racks.
Basically, what I am hoping for, is the control of the banks of presets, without having to change to "preset mode".
This would leave the main controls in "play mode" which is far more useful to me. I'd still like to have the banks readily accessible though... know-what-I mean? ;)
If the midi mouse can do that for me, then sign me up. :)

Look on ebay. Some people make custom boxes with 2 or 3 FS-5U's in one MXR sized box.
Good option.
