View Full Version : Will an export amp work in the States?

Just wondering if there is any concern running a Fender amp in the States that was an export model. It has settings for 117, 200, 210, 220, 240 volts.

Should work fine, run it on 117. Don't forget to rebias!

In my experience, the tranformers for export gear are better than those designed for USA/Can/Mex domestic products. This is usually necessitated by the fact that European house current is 50Hz and hence needs more laminations in the EI stack to work properly.
