Your playing and take on the song was great. I like it alot. Your singer, though...

Were those big ladies dancing up front trying to seduce you and get your attention? Hehe. HOT!

HA funny...on both counts ;)

...yeah, I love the guy, but he never really bloomed as a singer. Hits every note, just doesn't really have much...oomph or whatever that gives a singer that special zing.

...better than I could do though! ;) hehe

Nice tone! Good thing you're done w/ that singer...I was trying to figure out what lyrics he was singing, because they definitely weren't Jimi's.

How'd you record it? Came out pretty good.

thanks again!

I was using a Clyde Wah from Fulltone...

Zoom H4 was the recorder. I then took it and combined it with the video. The H4 been a cool tool. I Bought it to record my singing lessons, and Now i've found it to be an awesome way to record gigs for posterity AND doing quick gear clips;)

Thanks, good to know... I'm about to pull the trigger on a H2 for similar purposes.

I like the big chick dancing! I did not think that the singer was too bad other than his stage presence.

nice job! dug the tones and your playing. Where was the H4 placed? ...like in the back of the room or middle of the room? I have an H2 that Im planning on taking to a gig. Did you then have to sync it up with the video afterwards? i.e. software editing?

thanks

It was in the very back of the room. the recording would have been clearer if it was more in the center, but its tough when there are people sitting there (pesky audience!!) :)

I had to sync it up to the video using Final Cut Pro on my mac...it was actually kinda hard to do since the video was taken from a good distance away.

He violated one of the most important rules of rock n roll....NEVER wear shorts on stage. It's just tacky.

Nice tones? What amp and pedals are you using?

haha!! I've told him many a times NOT to wear shorts...but I don't rag on him too much....:)

"Nice tones?"..... are you not sure if they are nice tones? or did you mean to use other puntuation? lol!

Diaz Square face - TS10 - Fulltone Wah are the 3 pedals I used with the '67 super. That was the first gig I used the Diaz pedal. Found it cheap local and figured what the hell, and stuck it in;)

Sorry, that was supposed to be a period on the end. I loved the tone. Super owner here too....great amps. That Diaz sounds really nice with that amp.

Yeah..i bought it on a whim and it ended up being the first fuzz that I actually like! I've had a good bunch too! But this one gets creamy when you want it to and i've found it tough to find a fuzz that can do both scream and cream.
