There are obvious pros and cons to each head. They aren't all that similar but I sound like me so that's no biggy
I would probably be happier with the /13, but I would also be affraid to take it out of the studio. The damn thing is too pretty, the Budda would just look cool with dings and dents. The /13 has a vibe but it's also $1000 more and what are we talking 5% better sound from the /13?
The plan right now is to stack it on my Cameron modded 800 and either use a stereo cab and two mics or one mono 412 cab and a tonebone head switcher. The stereo cab would be cool, I could use both heads at the same time, and maybe even a boost if I use a /13 switchazel as an A/B.
So let's hear some thoughts.

I've had Bogners, Fenders, Marshalls, Aiken, Germino, Fuchs, Naylor, Carr, Diezel, etc... I will never part with my RSA23.

You want the /13. If you get the Budda you'll always be wanting the 13. Life is short. Get the /13 and be happy!

How much gain does the RSA23 have compared to the Budda? I'm very familiar with the SD18 and SD30 models and also the FTR37, which didn't have much gain at all without going balls to the wall. And then, it didn't have the mids I wanted to hear.

I have had two /13,s and sold both and still have my Budda SD30II and I take that to gig,s with no worry of playing it at Roadhouses, and sounds very good.
And saved a bunch of money,
If it matters, the /13's are going to hold their value MUCH better than the Budda.
They are also known to be quite roadworthy.

Well I had a Hell of a time selling both of mine,Which where brand new,I took some big Money hits on selling them lost much,
And as far as roadworthy When I brought my 13/29 home next day I had some very bad noises coming out of amp,and when I tried to get any help from the builder it was useless help,
The Budda was Cheaper and have not had any issues.
If I wanted amps to hold value I would buy more Vintage Gear.:jo

I would say go for the RSA and not worry about a single thing with it as Fred is nearby you...as far as the % of better sound, the issue is not better as much as it is in terms of different feel and tone.
But I guess I am biased ;)

Tough to compare amps that are so different. I use a Budda amp that I got a killer deal on used (SD30II 1x12). It covers all my bases and has alot more gain on tap. Added a 1x12 closed cab to my 1X12 combo and the thing roars! /13 amps are beautiful! You have a good problem my friend, I don't think you can go wrong. I know some of the places we play and can understand not wanting to bring an nice amp in there. If you go Budda look used!
