I have a Collings D2H, and was wondering if anybody over here knew which format of pickup I should order. It's the B-Band A2.2 I'm looking into, but I'm not sure whether to order the "narrow" or the "wide". Anybody know?
Thanks!

i hate getting into downing specific companies, but after seeing too many of them go bad (coating sticks to saddle, killing the element) and going crazy trying to get them to balance correctly, i would avoid the b-band stuff and just get a baggs imix, which will fit either width and sounds great.

Thanks for the help! Any others?
I have a b-band in my collings and it has worked out pretty well for me. I did not install or order the pickup so I can't really help you with wide vs narrow issue.

Narrow goes on a 3/32" saddle thickness, wide goes with a 4/32 (1/8") saddle. Either measure yours, or call Collings. I like the sound of the B-Band transducer...it's more natural sounding than many other piezos.

Installed the pickup...and it sounds phenomenal. Highly recommend the B-Band A2.2. Much more natural sounding and feeling than the fishman matrix I had previously installed. The setup for the B-Band was simple as well.
