Or what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Tone was uninspiring as f***, but I couldn't turn on the amp, because it was late at night here, so I had to go direct.

Warning: If you wanna listen to *good music*, I suggest you rather check out the clips from Christian Scott's newest or something, or those guys in the brazilian thread, or Lucidology's clips.. lotsa great stuff there.

Sounds great Ivers..
You play over changes so extremely well..
As it always sounds flowing & musical when you do ...

nice job ivers. playing cohesive musical ideas at that tempo is quite challenging but you do a really good job of it. also, i didn't think that your tone was bad at all for going direct. thanks for posting.

Holy crap, ivers! The original tempo is a bear, and for anyone to negotiate that on any instrument is world-class. And I also dig the tone, no disclaimer necessary. Inspiring as always, my friend!

Jeez, I can't even think that fast! Do me the honor of doing a take over my slower version. Only 4 takes on it so far, and yours would be a very welcome addition!

Thanks,

Mike
