Can anyone give me what the 4 cap values are supposed to be that feed the master volume. Right now I'm seeing two .1ufs and two .1/20 uf caps. That doesn't sound right to me. I'm trying to cut down on the bass in this amp and I saw a mod here on the gear page that suggested that they be changed to .022uf to control the bass response. I'd like to know what they should be first before I try this mod.

I'm not sure what you mean with this: 'two .1/20 uf'

On mine, they're all the same, .1. I suppose you could fiddle with them, but it would be simpler to tinker with the cap on the input of the phase inverter. My schematic, from '99, shows .01 there, but it's crossed off and marked .0033. Without opening it up, I'd guess I installed .0033. With the huge multi-tap New Sensor OPT I optionally installed, it does pass a lot
of bass.

Thanks Tele player. I can't figure out what that cap is either .1/20uf, don't know what value that translates into. I too have the larger tranformer.

The post phase inverter master volume that david allen uses requires 4 total .1uF caps. His brand preference is typically mallory 150s for this spot. Use the 630V version. :AOK
