Hello everyone,

I have a dilemma.

I am getting a 2 channel amp with footswitching; channel 1 is rhythm, channel 2 lead (crunch tones).

Here is what I want to do. Use channel 1 ONLY for clean. Then, use a delay pedal + distortion pedal on channel 2 for heavier tones.

I want to be able to switch channels, and have my distortion+delay come on simultaneously without having to step on three pedals!

Is there some way to do this: Have a box with an on/off switch...attached to this box (via cables) are the delay + distortion, already on. Then, I could just press the channel switching footpedal AND this "junction box" , which would give me instant delay + distortion.

Does this sound do-able? Should I be looking for some sort of A/B/Y box?

If anyone gets what I'm saying, please leat me know if what I said sounds reasonable, and what the name is of the box/pedal I need to do what I mentioned above.

Thank you!!

I don't think there is an easy quick way to do this without using some type of customizable switcher system like the Voodoo Labs GCX Switcher w/ the Ground Control or the Gig Rig.

They seem too complicated to get into just to do what you want to do.

Without doing at least two stomps with using regular switchers, I'm not sure what would work.

Maybe there is something else out there but I'm out of ideas...

Here, I think this will do it for you. Radial makes some great innovative, well-built products. The Slingshot remote switching function on this should change your amp's channels, while you can also have two separate effects loops if you want. With this pedal, you can have a separate pedal or two for your clean channel also if you want, or just another set of pedals for your crunchy channel. If you look at Radial's smaller "Bigshot" pedal series, you might see something there you like, though I looked at them, and don't think any of them will do what your trying to do. They all have great diagrams though for you to check out and be sure. This big "Loopbone" however, should do the trick for you. There may be other options out there, but this is what I came up with. Hope it helps. Good luck!

I just researched the LoopBone, and WOW...that is EXACTLY what I am looking for!

I can't thank you guys enough; this is what make TGP such a great forum!

Take care, and as soon as I have the means of posting soundclips, I shall.
