I'm trying to come up with a more volume sensible rig to put on stage in a small chapel but I need some advice.
I went to Home Depot at first to build a 3-panel Lexan shield for my cab and it seems to knock off a little off the top (or reflect enough such that it sounds a bit softer) but what I'm really looking for is to make the same panel with acoustic foam or panels to absorb sound. I'll still have the cab mic'ed so the sound output shouldn't be an issue.
Is it best to go to a specialized dealer for these or just go to Home Depot and buy foam panels and line them with carpet? Or is there another way of going about this?
