I was looking in this amp and noticed there is a 3 way knob(switch) for turning the amp on and 2 positions for changing the polarity i assume. There is a .022 cap going to ground on one leg dptt switch. should i remove this cap ?? Thanks

As part of the mod to turn it from a 2-prong plug to 3-prong plug, definitely. I do it on every old amp I work on, vintage or not. Nobody's ever taken a hit on resale, it doesn't affect the sound of the amp, and the amp is much safer for the user that way. You only live once, make it as long as possible.
If you don't know how to convert the amp over, bring it to a pro. This is not something to do the wrong way. It's your life.
