Actually - not for my guitar-playin' self......this is going to be a gift for my girlfriend's 24th birthday.
Normally I would never buy somebody an instrument - as it is such a personal choice of tone / feel / aesthetics - and would normally be played first......however, she is currently playing a horrid piece she got at a pawn shop, and I had to jump on this one when I had the chance (if she doesn't like it, I'll get her something else....but I'll probably keep this one for myself if that happens).
Just something to reward her for the past couple of years of hard work she's put into trying to learn the instrument.
Anyhoo.....I've never "played" a Modulus before, but I must say I'm quite impressed at how easily this instrument plays....effortless from top to bottom - with beautiful clarity and sustain. This guitar makes me wish I were a bass player (so I could hear what it should really sound like).
