The Lexicon MX200 looks like a nice unit for the money! $199. Looking for something to use in the parallel fx loop of my XTC. I've tried the TC G-Sharp and wasn't that impressed with the way it colored my tone. To anyone who is using the MX200 or has used it in the fx loop of their amp:
How did you like it/ not like it?
This is a true dual engine? ex. You can choose Delay and pitch shift or two types of reverb at once?
How is the unit as far as coloring your tone or tone suckage?
Thanks for your input!

Hi,
How did the MX200 work out for you ? Mine just arrived today and it appears it's unusable in my Budda SD 18 serial loop and does not sound much better straight in. The noise floor on this thing is way too high.

Don't do it.... Search for my posts on the matter.

My amps loop is straight off the master so line level is what I needed (which is what the MX200 is). I read in another forum someone said they got a 60 cycle hum they could not get rid of which is what mine sounds like . . .another writer said pulling the ground to the amp would eliminate a ground loop caused by unbalanced cables being used ????? I'm going to take the ground pin out of an AC cable tomorrow and see what happens. Is there anything in the same price range that will work in both insrument and line level ??

just a heads up... i received this unit and am currently running it in the serial loop of my XTC.
Works perfectly and the sounds are very lush!
Very stoked that such an inexpensive unit sounds so good. Happy camper here! :RoCkIn
