Having made a few posts already, it's maybe time to say hello.

Hello.

I was born and (mis-)bred in England and have been living in the land of Paco for over half my life. While some Flamenco influence has found its way into my fretting hand, my other one says no way José - give me the pick back.

I'm just old enough to remember the release of She Loves You.

I haven't really played (the guitar) on a regular basis since I became a happy daddy nearly 2.5 years ago. Anyway, here's some lead I recorded over a cool backing track at another board just before then. Be patient because the guitar is undermixed at the beginning:

Welcome Peter ,

I owned an apartment in Nerja - near Malaga - on the Costa Del Sol for 10 years . My apartment was right on the beach overlooking the Mediterranean Sea , my wife and I used to go there every winter for four months and loved it , we really miss the Spanish people and of course the great food - fiestas and music !!! (btw - I am also originally from England).

Cheers :BEER

Thanks for the welcome :)

I know Barcelona very well, and it's an ok place for live music of all genres, at least it was when I lived there. The people are pretty receptive, and above all, warm.

Ha, Rondrian, we get those "giant" paellas here, enough to feed a whole village. Something like this:

Billy, I've been to many places in Spain, but never La Costa del Sol. I'm sure you have fond memories of the place.

Cheers! and ¡hasta luego cocodrillo(s)! (that is the actual translation used in a Spanish version of "see ya later alligator")
