Thought I should say hello and introduce myself as I've been hanging out in the classifieds for a while now.

My name is Christopher C. Cordle.
I'm 40 years old, married and a father of two.
I was a rocker in my youth, then did the acoustic singer-songwriter thing for the last 10 years. Put out three cd's of original music and had some moderate success and nice reviews. Got bored, found myself missing the excitement of performing and rocking out and currently am working on a bar band project of cool R&B, 70's thru modern tunes to get booty's shakin' and just really looking forward to having fun musically again.

I also have been building fine acoustics for a little over a year now.
I've built three, sold two and am currently finishing up number four.
(There's some pics on my myspace page if interested in checking them out)
I also do all my own setup work on my electrics and built the 2 Strat's I'm playing these days from parts and pieces found here and ebay.

I came here originally trying to source some rock gear having long sold mine years ago. I'm a long-time member of the AGF (Acoustic Guitar Forum) and the OLF (Official Luthiers Forum).

Thanks for letting me aboard,
Chris

Hey, thanks much for all the nice greetings.

For the most part, I'll just be lurking here unless I feel I have the knowledge that can help someone with a specific question or need.

Howdy, Uncleshish.
I built a few electric guitar bodies in my highschool shop class, and learned my limitations early on. Glad to see that there are those who can create both in wood and in song (I'm not one of 'em).

Welcome to TGP.

Thanks Brett,

I built an electric guitar once using the duplicator at my step-dad's pattern maker shop. I still have it but the neck pocket has been broken twice and is now doweled for strength. It's pretty ugly!
