anybody know a trust worthy source where i can find some mullard el34 or ec833 tubes?

Mullard EL-34's will cost you a pretty penny. Might I suggest Svetlana Winged C's (Mullard like midrange) or JJ EL-34L's (wide range, great headroom), for a fraction of the price of Mullards. Do seek out used Mullard 12AX7's though, as they are affordable and sound terrific. And KCA is a good place to shop. Email Mike for advice.

Done some business with this guy in the past...he's pretty knowledgable on NOS tubes, and tubes in general. I imagine what you want won't be cheap, but the real good old stuff never is, huh?
