Great playing Marin!! Some great feel in there. Some real 70s vibey tone.
Thanks for posting the backing!
I did a couple real quick sucky wanks before work this morning. Nothing like rushing to do them in about 10 minutes.... Here is take 2.

Nice smooth and tasteful playing as always Marin. You really got the groove going on. Here's a couple of takes on the same backing track.

In the Spirit Of Quikies here's mine. ( Literally rushing out the door in ten for a rehearsal)
Guitars might be a little hot in the mix.

Texasburst, I liked take two of yours most. I liked the way the darker tone sat. Playing seemed nicer for me too...
Woody, another great job!! I love that I can always tell it is you. You have a great style!

Thanks Scott for the remarks. It really blows my mind that the Mini-Marshall MS-2 with the stock 2" speaker would come across as more appealing . I guess it's all in the way you mic and capture the tone. :)

LOL! Great setup! Btw, I am listening on crap work speakers, so the lowfi Marshall probably sounds better through them. Dell soundbar on the monitor. Yech.

No Woody, it's legit. I've recorded about 3 clips with my Mini MS-2. It sounds alot bigger than you would think. Here's some other clips of the MS-2 in action.I don't understand WHY, but this little amp records great.Go Figure.

Well, I'll be buggered sidewards. The Mics bigger than the amp!
It sounds better that some of the bigger beast I've heard here. Do you find the Dunlop Frequency isolation box you stand it on helps with tone ?:rotflmao
Nice one Tax!!
Ere does it go to 11??

LOL! Thanks, it does for some reason sound good when it's leaning up against the Fender Super Reverb grill cloth. It get some of its MOJO. This model ONLY goes to TEN. It's doesn't get that extra 1. HA!!

First take was messy and well overplayed.
Here's another. I tried to keep it simpler and play more traditionally for the Style. Appologies on the bends. My intonation is Sh*te sometimes
Hopefully it's more tasteful.

Hi guys,
sorry for replying late, but I travel a lot for work these days and I can't follow the board.
Scott - usual great fluid "signature" tone of yours and some great melodic ideas there!
Tex - that second take was really down my alley. Great tone. I can't believe its that small Marshall. Thanks for the BT. I think I got it from you at that other place.:)
Woody - that a great sound you have there! (I don't mind the guitar being a bit hotter in the mix). What the setup? Great playing too.
thanks to everyone for their kind comments.
Marin
