In the last days there were some threads showing some amazing guitars from McNaught.
So why not collect them all in one thread??:drool:drool

Here is mine:2003 VSC,diamond quilt top finished in Tiger Eye,flamed korina neck and back with purpleheart stripes(they don't offer white korina anymore),brazilian fingerboard and 2 WCR Fillmores.

Wow Jan! What is the inlay on the blue one? And need better shots of the Thorns! I'd like to know how you came out on moving those metals too... :)

THey are all gone now, but in my heyday I had at least 7 of them pass through my hands. They are absolutely addicting, and everytime I thought a nicer one couldnt possibly exist suddenly there was another on my doorstep!!!

Here you have a pheonix with a birds eye fretboard, a VSC that was korina body and neck with the purpleheart strips, and a VSC with a rosewood neck. I also had another Pheonix with birdseye fretboard pass through my hands. THe VSC's are just the best guitars out there in my eyes, without a doubt!!!

The Orion is know as the "Moby Dick" guitar. It's my fave novel, and Dave copied the inlay of a whale capsizing a boat off of an old/antique copy of the novel that I own. You can see it better on the Mcnaught website under the "orion" page.

As for the Metals, I made enough $$ to fully gut and remodel my Bathroom, and substantially fund my IRA. The Mcnaughts took me out of the PRS camp. I plan of keeping my 91 Custom though. It's a workhorse.:D

Cool, nice to hear some chatter about McNaught around these parts!

Some pics of my #1 guitar, this is a 2002 VSC that was done as a one-off with a very cool green marble / metallic flame graphic over a jet black background. I have a pic in a stand and one up close of the body. Rio Grande Texas / BBQ pickups.

Wow! is that a switch for a piexzo? What is the little black dot/button/switch?

Yep, the switch is for the piezo system. The black button is to switch the piezo system between stereo/mono modes.

What a beautiful axe! The top and finish are incredible. I've got a Phoenix I bought over 5 years ago and it's one of the best guitars I've ever played. What is the name of that color? That's what I would want for my next McNaught.

I am not really sure what the name of that color would be. I was looking for something along the lines of the PRS Copperhead burst. :drool

Dave showed me a picture of a guitar he did a little while back that had this color and I really liked it so I went with it.

If sometime in the future you decided to get another McNaught and wanted this color, I am sure if you showed Dave the pic of my guitar he would know exactly what it was.
