do they make a neck of this thickness, or are most of the necks thin?

isnt suhr primarily a custom shop who happens to have a line of 'standard' (pro) series guitars? id think suhr would be capable of making a neck of any thickness or dimension?

Suhr can make almost any neck profile. You could even bring in your favorite neck and they can put it on their "magic" machine that will copy it exactly.....

Hmmmm, that magic machine is exact down to like a freakin' micron too! Just email them for sure, class act guys over there!!! I like my necks big and meaty too. Scott Henderson's custom guitar has a neck that has a bit more chunk to it but maybe not as much as the SRV neck...but then again, the Suhr folks can build pretty much anything, and if they said they can make it rain, well, I guess I'd have my umbrella ready...

Suhr makes much bigger necks than the SRV .. the closest to it is the vintage C medium but it has less "shoulders" ..you can get a round 50's..it'll be definetely bigger ,like a hair bigger than Tyler 's 59
you can also get an Even C taper Fat ..bigger around first frets with less difference up the neck

Suhr can certainly make a very thin or very thick neck (and, perhaps not surprisingly given Suhr's knowledge and experience, they are somehow both comfortable). Undoubtedly they can make a neck the thickness of the SRV or John Mayer. The wrinkle is that the profile on the SRV (not sure about the Mayer) is asymmetrical - the bass side of the neck is thicker than the treble side. I've not encountered a Suhr with an asymmetrical neck profile before, but I'd bet they can do it, depending on their tooling setup.
