Rewire Marshall 2x12 to go with a BF Bassman?

Hi all.

Would it be possible to rewire a Marshall 2x12 cab to match the output from a BF Bassman head? The cab is fitted with a pair of 16 ohm Celestions and it has two jacks; stereo (16 ohm each) or Mono (8 ohm).

No way to get a 4 ohm load from 2 16 ohm speakers. However, a Bassman will usually be ok with 8 ohms - just not quite as punchy.

If you got the cab-swapping jones, get a Weber Z-Matcher. If you think you've got the jones bad now, just wait...
