I have a TAKAMINE CD132SC, It's a great guitar but it doesn't stay in tune. I play, maybe 20 minutes, every day after work. Seems to me It should stay in tune.
My other guitars stay in tune, and they are cheapo brands.
I keep it on a stand, not in the hard case.

Maybe nylon strings require constant tuning? Dunno, this is my first nylon stringed strummer.

Do you guys, Takamine owners, have the same problem?

Yes, it has new strings.

could it be the strings are slipping on the tuners? (What type of tuners and how do you have the strings around the tuners?)
In general I'd give it a week of good play time to let the strings stretch
Don't have any experience with Nylon strings personally though.

ChuckNylon strings can take WEEKS to stretch to their stable state. Hang in there :)

r9 and gh1 are both correct. New nylon strings do take a lot longer to get stable than new steel strings. They do become very stable once they settle down and you should rarely have to do much more than a tuning tweak daily. The trebles are slippery little buggers and if they are not tied well at both ends will continue to slip.

Here's a pretty good tutorial on installing nylon strings correctly. Everyone has their favorite method.
