It was our first attempt and I'll get better pics when I can - some nice out-door ones on a sunny day. But this is the result. Surf Green, Green Guard, '55 SD Antiquities, and a Maple Neck.

That's a pretty good relic job. I like the "dirty look" and find that lack of dirt is one of the main reasons that most relic jobs don't look all that convincing. Matter of fact most relic jobs look like they took a rake to the top of the guitar, but this one is an exception.

Looks good. How does it sound and play? Looks like a guitar that belongs to a mechanic or something.
I like it. it looks like by buddy's 66 Mustang. Looking forward to some close ups.

Once the strings were stretched and it got the setup - it's a ripper!! More bite than my 50's RI. He put the Antiquities in it with the raised D & G. It's got an RS kit in it also. The neck is a little thinner than my RI also. Next time I see him - I'll get some more pics...

Shit guys - We appreciate all the kind words.... I don't think we're ready to compete with the "Big Dogs" just yet.... still have some fine tuning to do. Still learning all the tricks and trades of the "art" ... Since this was our first attempt - There were a couple of steps that were skipped that shouldn't have been... Ah well.... It still turned out pretty good though. Thanks again... As soon as we get the "balls" to do so - we might sell them sooner or later.... Never know - we might keep them all... :D

That didn't work for my dad and I, it's the reason Rice Custom Guitars started...had to start selling them when we ran out of room.:RoCkIn

Just to clarify - I didn't build this guitar alone. My boy did the relicing on the body - the neck and pickguard were done by Rock and Roll Relics. My boy did all the Relicing on the body. I just put the primer and Paint on the body. He did some of the later coats. I just soldered it and screwed it all together. So - it was definitely a group effort. Thanks again for the comments - we appreciate it!!

Uhmmm... Not one person has stated that "issue" until you. So - I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't. Besides - How many people build Partsocasters for themselves and do it? A lot. If we were to attempt to get into "the game" and sell these - the "lawsuit" wouldn't be a factor. :horse
Other than that - thanks for the compliment.
