Greetings ALL ,
Dave here from upstate NY ...I am new to the Gear Page , but NOT to playing / gigging etc... I am 44 ( cant believe I just typed that , 44 WOW!!) Anyway , I have been playing for 20+ years , started out as a drummer, made the move to guitar because I felt to limited behind a kit.I have owned a music store , worked at various music stores ( i hate to admit it but I was actually a manager at Guitar Center , LOW point in life !!!) More importantly I am a father to 4 Great kids and I have a Great wife who gets the whole G.A.S syndrome ...Also a TONE HOUND !!!! ( its a NEVER ending journey .....
I like ALL styles of music ...Started out a big Genesis, Yes , Eloy, Rush , mostly Prog style music ...Then fell into the whole Zep, Deep Purple, Bad Co., rock thing ....Then Funk got a hold of me Parliament , Ohio Players etc...Then I was KNOCKED out by the whole jazz / fusion thing .....Anyway I havent fallen for country , but im still young (although Brent Mason , and Albert Lee are AMAZING!! )
Gear wise right now , here is where i stand :

Amps : Jim Kelley FACS Amp w/verb(probably my favorite) , Egnater IE-4 RED Original Preamps , Fargen JW-40 Jim Weider Signature Amp #3 ( Jims a good friend of mine ), Swart AST Limited Edition Head , 2 Sundown SD-1000H Artist Heads consecutive serial #s Alan Holdsworths , Garnet Pro 200 Super Head , Garnet BTO Head , Rexx 201 Preamp , 2 Yamaha DG-1000 preamps,AND FINALLY a Marshall 1971 50 watt Head...
Effects : 2 -TC 2290 Delays , 2-TC 1210 Spatial Expanders , Rocktron Pro Q , Chandler Rack Delay( yellow original version) , Digitech RPM-1 Rotary Speaker Sim , 2- Peavey Valveverbs , Eventide Eclipse ...
Effect Pedals : WAY TOO MANY TO LIST !!!!
