want a new rockabily style guitar
who's makin em these days??
an i ain intrested in gretsch prices
remember cort had a good un a couple years ago - [think it was cort]

our rythm guitar/singer wants one so its got to be showy - but no bigsby
he aint away from farmers corner much, hes a pretty basic player but i want it to have a good jangly tone [me lead picker]

he likes blondies like his chix

I've never heard a "Samick" brand Samick, but probably something else by them (they ghost build a lot). Co-worker has a lot of respect for them...so I took a chance...

Gretsch Electromatics are also fairly reasonable for a full-hollowbody guitar.

Electromatics are very fairly priced and sound and feel great and are a fantastic platform for upgrading

Or, just hunt carefully on eBay . . . . i got a 67 Dble Anniversary for $800
