Hi,
I'm pretty ancient, but still gassin' and gigging. You DON'T grow out of it!
Based on the South coast in the UK.
Gear: Well, I'm lucky enough to have a few Gibbos, Gretsches and Fenders, and four nice acoustics, without getting too anal, (am I allowed to say that?). Amps: Always been mainly a Fender man, DR, VK,5E3 clone(I built,)2 modified Bassman heads, champ + 2x12 and 1x15 cabs.
Favourite players: Atkins,Cooder,JJ Cale,Knopfler,EC, and all the others I'll think of as soon as I've posted this................
Though I play with a mostly clean or sorta gritty on the edge sound, I love the Trainwreck kind of touch sensitivity, ( if only.......,) and quite fancy getting a ceriatone TW to try to get into that ballpark.
Got my name from a bassplayer I played with, around the same time that EC became known as Slowhand...........
Regards
