Sunday bump. I'm especially interested in the reverse...can you set it up as a true reverse delay? As in, not just reversing the loops and not hearing the original signal with the reversed signal.

No... you can't do reverse delay. It will only reverse your recorded loop.

It was my favorite looper, and one of my regrettable gear sales.

Don't know about the new one, but I still have the original early 80's one. Very fun pedal, it screw up your original signal so much (12bit, I think). It's the unpredictable results box, but if you need to control your loops in a predictable way, the new one is probably better, and of course the other loopers too: Akai Headrush-Boss-Digitech-etc.

Thanks a bunch man, this is exactly what I needed. I wonder if I could do worse if I went with a DL4 for looping as opposed to the 16 SDD. I'm using it in a Nels Cline-type fashion. I'm not too familiar with the DL4, though...can it do reverse and modulated loops?

+1. I would love to try an original 16-second delay. One, I can't find one, and two, anyone who has one isn't parting with it. :(

... oh man, Fripp used to tour with the original 16 second delays.
