Thanks to the dude with the backing. A few miscues, slips....but I couldn't redo it. I take it to a live version where whatever happens...happens.
The CS JB Strat the the Bogner's "blue" ch....with a little KR Doubler in spots.
This amp is tremendous:RoCkIn

sounds real...REAL good Carl! ...goodbye Reinhardt...seems redundant to have both amps when the Bogner does the same sorta sound but much better.... and versatile to boot...
*UNLESS* you want a base amp to stick one of your fuzzes in front of...The XTC isn't a decent 'fuzz platform' IMO.
hey, are you using only a single SM57 for your mic?

I'm using a single SM-57.
I have to try the fuzzes into the Plexi mode.

Your Welcome Carl, I enjoy your playing.
Fantastic feel and laid back groove. Great playing. You would sound excellent into a Dumble style amp with all of those long, held, bends. You should borrow a Fuchs or TwoRock and make some clips sometime. I bet they would kill.

I had taken them down. here you go- The Reinhardt was heavily Hot Plated to distortion.... I ran the fuzz into that. Into a clean amp, I thought this fuzz was pretty weak.

Thanks!!! Sounds great btw. Given your experience, which fuzz is best to nail that BOG tone? I know this has been asked millions of times, but what the heck? What do you think about the Big Muff Pie (I own one, so I thought i'd ask)?

Big Muffs are cool, but I wouldn't use one to get a BOG sound.
The RM Axis is cool, but bright.
The new KR The Fuzz, I did the Machine Gun clip with, is closest I ever heard.

Thanks!! On another note, do you have a band or are most of the clips you put up backing tracks and you playing lead? If it is mostly backings, I am going to have to seriously consider practicing with backing tracks more often as my practice mostly consists of playing by myself.

No band.
Most of those clips are me playing to backing track, which is actually good practice.
Until I get a bass and drum machine, the backings I find will have to do.

You have truly inspired me. It is amazing to know that you don't have a band, you are the best guitarist I have heard and like since Jimi, really. I am going to start religiously practicing to backing tracks. Any tips? Do you just noodle around till you find something good and go from there?
Thanks!!!:BEER

Thanks!! If they're jam backing tracks, I don't practice what I'm going to play. I just improvise till I get a decent take.
If it's the backing of an actual tune...most times I know the tune. Sometimes I gotta brush up, like the Jeff Beck Pork Pie Hat. I had previously only knew the intro.

killer tones .... mine's at Bogner getting a checkup, can't wait to get it back.
I've gotten some jaw-dropping cleans from Plexi mode. I haven't tried pedals with Plexi mode either, gotta try that some day.

I have tried a few of my favorite pedals thru the Plexi mode and was suprised at how good they sounded.
