Hi,
Ah, Switzerland...my second favorite country in the whole world! I've been to Zurich only once (just at the airport) but to Switzerland four times for three weeks each time. I spent most of my time in the alpine regions with alot of it around Zermatt, the Lauterbrunnen valley (Murren and Wengen), Leukerbad(sp?), Grindelwald, and St. Moritz. Unbelievable! Out west here in the States the Rockies are very pretty but nothing prepared me for the Swiss Alps! It is like you opened up a child's fairy tale book and jumped in! I got to jam some blues with a Swiss band in Leukerbad too...that was a fantastic experience. Anyways...welcome to The Gear Page!

Little known fact...I was born in Basel and lived in Domat-Ems. All my family is still over there as a matter of fact.

Welcome! This is a great place to hang out. It's a big brain trust. You can learn a lot here. What kind of guitars do you build? If you can post some of your work.

Again welcome,

Jeff

Gruezi! My stepmother lives just outside Zurich. What a lovely country! I used to live in Lausanne, many years ago.

A second luthier from the Zurich area - do you know Alex Rado, maker of NICE guitars?
