I've been lurking here for a long time. I recently ran across a decent scope cheap, and because I've wanted to try out a bunch of different tubes, figured it was time to start learning how to do a couple of things myself.
Guitars: mostly Hamers w/ P-90s; one pseudo-Tele, butchered '59 LP Jr.
Amps: 2 Fuchs-modded heads, a couple of Traynor Bassmasters, Carmen Ghia, Traynor YGM-1, Ceria Liverpull.

My friend lives right up the street from thr SeaBright bridge. I used to live in Hazlet and did the whole cover thing a few years ago. I miss the old Tradewinds and miss playing at Donovans. Summer time outside on the back deck was always nice and the drunks seem to get extra intoxicated there for some reason. My first gig ever was Stone Pony in 1990.

Wow... who would have guessed there were this many amp guys in the neighborhood (I'm on the border of Neptune City and Bradley Beach)?
Scott, I hear your name a lot (usually followed by the phrase "monster player") and may have actually seen you once... did you once drop in to jam with the late Nightwolf John? If so, you are the monster I'm thinking about.
Chops, did you sell a Carmen Ghia head out of your home a couple of years back? If so, it's about three feet away...
You guys will have to point me to the best local amp techs, please.
