I've been downloading a lot of BT's lately, and I've really never heard most of the original backings. I've never heard Joe's original version of this song,but I really liked the laid back groove of the tune and I have an idea how Joe MIGHT play it. Anyway here's the backing and how I reacted to the backing.

Thanks for the BT, I've been looking for that one. Great take on it, love the Fender tone.

Here is my quick take. I just finished with Mr. 335 impresonation in the previous thread and did a quick ala Satch impression of snow flakes in Zagreb. (didn't even bother to tune up, which is evident. :( )
Kreso switching to bridge pick-up and thinking "Satriani" (http://www.kresimirdominic.com/mp3/Kreso_Heart_Of_the_Snowy_Morning.mp3)
As always, I used my hand-made Pensa/Suhr copy, Xotic BB Preamp and tiny Harley Benton GA5 tube amp.

Nice tone too. Great to hear those legato lines that satch does so well.
I really must dig satch out again - I remember being in awe when surfin was realeased. so magical.
