Anyone using the oil and paper .047 caps from RS Guitarworks in their Fenders? Feedback?

No - I recently bought a bunch of PIO Russian Mil. caps from a guy in Ukraine and they are wonderful capacitors. For what I paid I'd have to hear them side to side to make a solid comparison. I'm loving these Russian jobs for sure.

Is there a place you can steer me to for these? I'm interested in replacing the ceramic caps that came stock in my Fenders with oil and paper. I do use the tone knobs on my Strat and Tele, so I'm curious to hear if there is indeed some major tonal mojo that I'm missing.

+1 on the russian PIOs. You can get them on ebay.

and to my ears, the K4O9-Ys are the 'grail. I use them in tone stacks along with polystyerene or polyurethane and in coupling roles, especially the PI pair. Match them well, and your ears will thank you. They are larger than other versions of the same value however.... They are superb in PPIMV roles; I stand them on end and use silicon and wire ties to make the immovable object.
Vilnius at K&W always had good stock, pretested, at insanely low dough.
Here are all the amp-applicable ones at eBay now.

Stay away from the paper ones alone though (i.e. no oil involved). Leaky, noisy things; Vilnius talked me out of geting any of those.
