I'm not as active as I used to be on the music scene. But I still compose, play and record in order to maintain my sanity from working on my other 9 to 5 day job. My day job does not challenge me enough so I channel my energies into my music.

I have a pletora of gear which I have accumulated over the years of buying, selling and trading.

I currently use a stereo rig. Guitar into digital pedal board then into mixer and then into power amp that is hooked up for stereo sound. I will occasonally use sequencers, backing tracks or midi gear to make it sound more like an ensemble.

I like to play all sorts of good music, no matter. Often I am limited on what I know how to play. The basis for my music is psychedelic rock, progressive rock, R'n'B and jazz.

Welcome to the Gear Page CosmicNut! Care to get specific with your gear list? I'd be interested to see how you pan all that out.

To JRenn and anyone who's interested.

1. Strat or SG
2. Digitech GNX4
3. Mackie Mixer
4. I'll have a backing machine into the mixer, DR880, JS5 or my own backing
5. I might use a send/return for light effects on vocals
6. I'll use a send/return for EQ'ing
7. Finally the power amp: For low volume home playing I'll just use a conventional stereo amp. For jamming that requires more power handling I'll use my Crown SLX202, I'm running that at 8 ohms per ch. so that gives me 145W per ch. It could also be wired so that it pulls more juice. Normally I would hook up my rig stereo-quad, two separate speakers per ch. But sometimes there are limitiations in the room being used. The main advantage to this type of setup is you get good sound dispersion at low volume.
