rectifer question , after installing allen transformer

received my allen power transformer today for the princeton reverb amp, paperwork says do not use a 5u4 rectifier tube, would a 5Y3 be ok for the time being ? i have a couple good ones on hand, if a 5Ar4 is ok, ill go with that latter, thanks. )

My guess would be the power transformer does not have enough 5V filament current to use a 5U4.

5U4 5V @ 3.0A
5AR4 5V @1.9A
5Y3GT 5V @2.0A

Interestingly the Princeton Reverb calls for a 5U4.
Is that the TP25 power trans? It is rated for 5V @2A

yup, its the PT25

just got a email from allen, 5Y3 would work, but, he says to use the 5AR4.
