Tremelo - Blue Jean Blues content

Hello all,

I am looking for a nice simple tremelo pedal with smaller footprint (MXR box size) to emulate the sound of ZZ's Blue Jean Blues.

Would the Sugar Baby from Tone Factor do it?

Any other suggestions?

I really like the Demeter Tremulator as far as small-box tremolo pedals go; there's just something I love about the waveform. It won't do the choppy on/off-type trem sounds though, but that doesn't sound like what you're looking for anyway.

Hi Eric, I think the ZZ studio version is real subliminal, listen to Greg's you tube video around 2:40 he copes the BJB vibe through the 18 watt marshall clone with tremelo. Thats where I got the idea of tremelo for the song, maybe it is not in the ZZ studio version, but it sure sounds cool for the song.

don't know about the sugar baby, but i just got a dano tuna melt that can nail that sound for 1/3 the price. . . top-side jacks so it can make it sort of smaller than an mxr sized pedal. . . . .
