For fun around the house that needs no pack the Guitar Bug or Samson Airline are great. I have the Samson with both a Strat type plug and the PRS, Tele type plug. With a pack the Seinhauser lineup is A 1. Lets face it, if you are playing a bar on a Friday or Sat. night a slight loss of tone is not an issue. 99/100 of the crowd don't know weather you are playing a Strat or PRS. A signal drop out is the issue. On of the guitar mags did a test on the mid priced wireless units a while back and I remember 2 different Seinhauser units won on several areas plus overall.

I'm very happy with the Samson Airline. I regularly get compliments on my tone from other guitar players, so it can't be too bad. I honestly can't tell a difference in sound in a live setting between it and a cable.

I have a Shure PG14 for sale in the emporium. It's a great Wireless but I switched to the Sennheiser G2 because the Sennheiser uses AA Batteries. for as much as I play the 9volts are too expensive

Shure and Sennheizer have very good units. Set your budget and then see what is available. You can't go wrong with either brand.
I've been using a Shure LX-14 wireless system for nearly 10 years with flawless results. In fact, in more than 500 gigs with the unit, I've crossed paths with another wireless devices exactly once!
Also, I get about 20 hours from the 9v in the body pack. Pretty good battery life on my unit.

+1 on the Sennheiser G2. I don't notice any change in tone or feel and it's the best made of the less expensive ones (metal case, etc).
