Well, that other post makes me feel really ancient as I just had my 56th birthday in Minneapolis and am now closer to 60 than to 50 for the first time.. losing altitude and picking up speed!
Just found this board, and figured I would stop in. I am a total amateur that plays around with neighbors and friends in the basement.. Let's see, have a tele and some strats, a prs mccarty and cu24... oh, and the prs spruce top hollow body with piezos... a mesa boogie lonestar special and a fender american blues deville 2X12 to annoy the other neighbors with (the ones not in attendence).. and some assorted pedals to hide the fact that I can't play for sh*t!
Love messing around though.. older rock, blues (relive the lost youth) etc. Maybe if I keep it up, I can get gigs playing in nursing homes for my peers!
