Vaguely recall them going for dirt cheap once the boss multieffect trend started.
One going for peanuts in full working order (closet calassic)
just dunno how much they are worth nowadays.

I don't know much about them, but I suspect that Lindsey Buckingham may have used one (or a variant) in the early 80s with Fleetwood Mac. He alluded to it in an 80s-era interview once, but didn't mention the specific brand and model.
Were there other Ibanez models that had echo, overdrive and chorus?

Yeah - these are pretty hip units for those into Ibanez effects - in the latter days, we couldn't give these things away - they're pretty hip.

I think the word is out (sort of) on these. They seem to go for a few hundred (more for the ue300 ones than the ue305 ones) on ebay, etc.
I've had most of the variants and liked them all. Large footprint, though.

I reckon I could rehouse it though.
I especially like the effects loop option there, and the master switch.
Anyone ever done an autopsy on one?
I'm curious to see what the op amp is.

that would be more of a "Vintage TS-9" multieffect.

nice analog tones, significant signal-noise ratio issues, extremely unreliable footswitches.

A friend has one of those and it still souonds pretty damn good even after all these years. I also think that's probably a TS9 in there as well.

I've seem seen them go for 100 to $200 on craigslist.

i've only seen one person ever use one. he was a killllller player too. it was hard to tell how good that thing actually sounded, because he could have made almost anything sound good.

Gonna open it up tomorrow and see what its all about.
The compressor sounds like my old trusted CL9, the one that comes along for slide duties.
I cranked the compressor to goose the TSwhateveritis and it's awsome.
One output is dodgy - bad jack probably, but for 20 bucks its a keeper for my blues sets.

I've owned a couple of them. LOVE THEM! There's an older one for sale near me that I keep wanting badly, though I don't "need" it.

Ain't had chance to try it out at full volume yet, any noise from it? (it seems to be 100% analogue apart from the op amp)

I can now confirm that.:(

op-amps are analog.
